Introduction to musical gesture
I would like to invite you all to follow a project I am into. It has been a while since we started on the project.
What is this about? It is about musical movement and gesture. How we can compose music from just a simple movement of our body or gesture, or as simple as clapping.
Every sound, subectively or objectively, makes an spectrum and that could be converted into a melody.
But before dipping into that matter, we should explain what musical gesture means first and its uses. This first article is the first one of a series where I will be exploring this concept more detailed.
